Writing articles can be quite tedious. I can attest to that as I've written hundreds of them over the last 12 months.
It's worth the effort at the end of the day, though. There's nothing that gives me more pleasure than seeing a completed article and knowing it's going to be enjoyed by other people.
I always aim to work quickly while maintaining a high standard of writing. The more articles I can write, the more chance I have of writing a great piece that people can identify with.
If you want to speed up your writing, I have three tips that I think you'll find useful. They're always a part of my strategy, and I assure you they can really make a difference.
Learning to type faster is my first recommendation. You'll write more quickly if you can type at speed. You really ought to work on this and it's not that hard, especially if you start playing a free online typing game. You'll be having fun and typing faster and faster.
As you type, think of the next thing you want to say. This doesn't come naturally to everybody. But when we speak, we're often thinking ahead to the next point we want to make.
If your thoughts precede your written words you'll be doing very well. You'll find you have fewer pauses in your writing, and this can't help but improve your speed generally.
Lastly, I would recommend writing about subjects that don't really interest you. Yes, I know it sounds bizarre, but try to become very good at writing about topics you find boring, or you know little about. Once you've achieved this, you'll have no problem producing articles about the things you enjoy and are knowledgeable about.
It would make me very happy if some of this information helps improve your writing and means we'll see more great articles on the net.
